Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 343!
Our Mission
We’re a family-centered Cub Scout Pack that serves boys and girls in grades K–5 who are ready for fun, friendship, and adventure. Pack 0343 is chartered by Living Word Lutheran Church and is part of the Sam Houston Area Council. We’re proud to help young Scouts grow into confident, kind, and capable individuals.
Scouting is all about doing your best. At Pack 0343, we believe in building character, developing leadership skills, and learning by doing. Through fun activities, service projects, and outdoor adventures, Scouts discover the value of teamwork, responsibility, and respect for others.
What We Do
Our program mixes hands-on learning with plenty of fun!
- Monthly Pack Meetings – where families come together for awards, skits, songs, and special activities.
- Den Meetings – smaller groups (organized by grade level) meet regularly to work on age-appropriate adventures and skills.
- Outdoor Fun – camping, hiking, fishing, and nature exploration.
- Community Service – food drives, clean-ups, and helping neighbors.
- Special Events – Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold Banquet, and seasonal celebrations.
Who Can Join
Cub Scouts is open to all youth in grades K–5. Whether your family is brand-new to Scouting or you’re continuing a tradition, Pack 343 is ready to welcome you.
Family Involvement
Parents, guardians, and family members are a big part of our Pack. Scouting is designed to include the whole family — from cheering on racers at the Pinewood Derby to joining us on campouts. Your support makes the program stronger and more meaningful.
